Hi Yang! Thanks! The patch is now a lot more palatable. Is there a reason why you want to
suppress stdout? What do you mean by "harm to the Hadoop cluster"? If you are worried about
the number of log files, then a slightly different approach is being taken : YARN-2942 . Would
that be an acceptable solution for you?
If it were just me, I wouldn't be opposed to this patch getting committed, but I would like
to see what the other members of the community think about this.
