Jason Lowe commented on MAPREDUCE-5403:
---------------------------------------

Is this that different conceptually from how clients are locating the resourcemanager via
{{yarn.resourcemanager.address}}? Are we proposing putting that in an environment variable
as well, along with anything else in yarn-site.xml that clients need to access?

> Project: Hadoop Map/Reduce

> yarn.application.classpath is a confusing property because it is used by MapReduce and
not YARN, and MapReduce already has mapreduce.application.classpath, which provides the same
functionality.
