Hi,

@Arun: ApplicationReport is the object passed from the ResourceManager (RMAppImpl.java:300) to the client side (ResourceManagerDelegate.java:121) 
These ApplicationReports get translated to JobStatus objects in the same line ResourceManagerDelegate.java:121. The list of JobStatus is what is received by CLI.java:531 to print out the statuses. Would you propose a different way in which I could provide the requested information?

@Ramya: As was pointed out in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAPREDUCE-2790?focusedCommentId=13089520&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-13089520 we can only get the "running/reserved containers (can't get running/reserved maps/reduces from RM of course)." This patch does change the column headings
