Subject [jira] [Updated] (MAPREDUCE-2790) [MR-279] Add additional field for storing the AM/job history info on CLI

Arun C Murthy updated MAPREDUCE-2790:
-------------------------------------

    Status: Open  (was: Patch Available)

Showing 'just finished containers' in scheduling info seems odd.

Maybe we should show currently live (acquired) containers?

Also, I'm not a big fan of having just a public 'set' method in mapred.JobStatus - please
add both public get/set to mapreduce.JobStatus and be done with.

Also, we should ensure 'classic' MR works and that the MR CLI tests (ant test) work...

Sorry for being a pain, but we need to ensure existing stuff at least compiles/tests. Thanks!

> bin/mapred job [-list [all]] displays the AM or job history location in the "SchedulingInfo"
field. An additional column has to be added to display the AM/job history information. Currently,
the output reads:
> {noformat}
> JobId State StartTime UserName Queue Priority SchedulingInfo
> jobID FAILED 0 ramya default NORMAL AM information/job
history location
> {noformat}
