Release Note: Generate state graph from State Machine Definition
               Status: Patch Available (was: Open)

To generate state graph:
mvn exec:java -Dexec.mainClass="org.apache.hadoop.yarn.util.VisualizeStateMachine" -Dexec.args="RM

mvn exec:java -Dexec.mainClass="org.apache.hadoop.yarn.util.VisualizeStateMachine" -Dexec.args="NM

dot $f -Tpng -Glabel="ResourceManager State Graph" -Gfontname=Helvetica -Gfontsize=24 -Nfontname=Helvetica
-Nfontsize=12 -Efontsize=9 -Efontcolor=blue -Efontname=Arial > ResourceManager.png

I think this work needs to be improved, I post patch here so people can give advice.

Is it possible to visualize EVENT relationships between Components through information added
in annotation?

> It would be nice to automatically generate the state machine visualization from the state
machine declaration using graphviz or some such. Some state graphs already attached to MAPREDUCE-279.
