Jingguo Yao commented on MAPREDUCE-398:
---------------------------------------

I got the following error when using hadoop 0.20.2 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release
5.2. SUN JDK 1.6 update 18 is used.

java.io.IOException: Task process exit with nonzero status of 134. at org.apache.hadoop.mapred.TaskRunner.run(TaskRunner.java:418)

After upgrading JDK from update 18 to update 22, the error has gone.
