Todd Lipcon commented on MAPREDUCE-1275:
----------------------------------------

Anyone have any ideas on this? I thought it was something peculiar to the apache hudson, but
I experienced the same thing on a local build machine - a bunch of tests failed in a row,
then things revived for the rest of the test sequence.

> Over the past few days, several Hudson validation tests for patches have been failing
with NoClassDefFoundError. See MAPREDUCE:952, MAPREDUCE:1201. These failures are definitely
unrelated to the patches being tested.
