Hi,

I am trying to run the example grep program. this is the command that I
typed into bash.
bin/hadoop jar hadoop-*-examples.jar grep input output 'dfs[a-z.]+'

I am getting this error but am not able to pin point the problem.

Unrecognized option: -
Could not create the Java virtual machine.

what could be the problem ?

My configuration
-----------------------
Hadoop with single node default configuration
Windows 7
Cygwin
