Namit Jain resolved HIVE-10.

    Resolution: Fixed

Was fixed as part of the big merge.

Currently, we don't support general predicate push up However, if the predicate is present
in the ON clause of the join, it is pushed up to the map stage

> [Hive] filter is executed after the join
> ----------------------------------------
> Key: HIVE-10
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-10
> Project: Hadoop Hive
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Query Processor
> Reporter: Namit Jain
> Assignee: Namit Jain
> Filter is not pushed above the join in Hive currently. This can be pretty expensive if
the filter is highly selective.
