Subject [jira] [Commented] (HDDS-870) Avoid creating block sized buffer in ChunkGroupOutputStream
Date Wed, 05 Dec 2018 22:35:00 GMT

Jitendra Nath Pandey commented on HDDS-870:

There seem to be some inconsistencies between int and long. At some places we use {{long}}
to track size of buffered data, while some methods treat it as {{int}}. For example {{computeBufferData}}
returns an {{int}}.

> Currently, for a key, we create a block size byteBuffer in order for caching data. This
can be replaced with an array of buffers of size flush buffer size configured for handling
2 node failures as well.
