Subject [jira] [Commented] (HDFS-12284) RBF: Support for Kerberos authentication
Date Tue, 23 Oct 2018 01:22:00 GMT

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-12284?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16659908#comment-16659908

Íñigo Goiri commented on HDFS-12284:

We found another issue: when doing the login, we use a way to resolve the address.
This might give undesired resolutions, we should do something similar to what the DNs do and
provide an option to set it as a key (i.e., DFS_DATANODE_HOST_NAME_KEY).
We should do the same for the Namenode.
I'll include an updated path with this but we may want to do the NN part in a separate JIRA
in trunk.
