+1 pending Jenkins. The default behavior remains the same as today and I have removed the
_Incompatible_ flag.

Will hold off committing until later next week.

bq. This is like linux having a sysctl controlling whether you can use rm -r.
Not too different from the {{--preserve-root}} option to [rm|https://linux.die.net/man/1/rm].
