I agree to add {{-satisfyStoragePolicy -path ]}} cli command, but am not sure about the usability of {{-storagePolicySatisfierStatus}} command. Do we really need the second command? Also, if needed we can include this but the result {{Enabled or Disabled}} is confusing to me as the logic is check the running status. Following are the possible states of {{SPS service}} and the command result should reflect the same, right? - enabled and running - enabled and not running (we have dynamically switch ON/OFF feature in place) - disabled > [SPS]: Add storagepolicy command to check the status of storage policy Satisfier > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: HDFS-11670 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-11670 > Project: Hadoop HDFS > Issue Type: Sub-task > Components: datanode, namenode > Affects Versions: HDFS-10285 > Reporter: Surendra Singh Lilhore > Assignee: Surendra Singh Lilhore > Attachments: HDFS-11670-HDFS-10285.001.patch > > > Its good to have one command to check SPS is enabled or not.
