Subject [jira] [Commented] (HDFS-11990) Ozone: Add all configurable entries into ozone-default.xml
Date Fri, 23 Jun 2017 06:03:00 GMT

Anu Engineer commented on HDFS-11990:

+!, LGTM. I will commit this shortly.

However code reviewing this patch produced a set of work items in my mind. I will file JIRAs
for all these items. It does not block this JIRA but something that we should take care of
sooner than later.

Here is the list that came to my mind while reviewing this patch.

# Move Container IPC port to 98xx value range.
# Add CBlock defaults to Ozone-defaults.xml
# Make sure that ozone-defaults.xml to part of tarball created from mvn package.
# ozone.ksm.leveldb.cache.size.mb default is 128 MB. This was set to that value because ozone
was segfaulting the jenkins containers. Explore if that issue is gone, and if so increase
size to 256 MB.
# Add Ozone-defaults.xml documentation.

> Ozone: Add all configurable entries into ozone-default.xml
> ----------------------------------------------------------
> Key: HDFS-11990
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-11990
> Project: Hadoop HDFS
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: ozone
> Reporter: Anu Engineer
> Assignee: Yiqun Lin
> Attachments: HDFS-11990-HDFS-7240.001.patch, HDFS-11990-HDFS-7240.002.patch
> In HDFS-11963 [~cheersyang] commented that we have missing keys in ozone-default.xml.
This jira tracks that issue so that all ozone specific keys have a default entry in ozone-default.xml.
