Arpit Agarwal commented on HDFS-11316:

Looks good, thanks for addressing this [~linyiqun]. I think we can reduce the recheck interval
from 3000ms (e.g. 500ms) to reduce the test run time a bit.

> The test {{TestDataNodeVolumeFailure#testUnderReplicationAfterVolFailure}} fails frequently
in recent Jenkins buildings. The stack infos:
> {code}
> org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.server.datanode.TestDataNodeVolumeFailure.testUnderReplicationAfterVolFailure
> java.lang.AssertionError: There is no under replicated block after volume failure
> 	at org.junit.Assert.fail(Assert.java:88)
> 	at org.junit.Assert.assertTrue(Assert.java:41)
> 	at org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.server.datanode.TestDataNodeVolumeFailure.testUnderReplicationAfterVolFailure(TestDataNodeVolumeFailure.java:419)
> {code}
> We would be better using {{GenericTestUtils.waitFor}} here to wait for the condition
being satisfied.
