Actually, i opened another JIRA https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-10804 for replicaMap
lock issue, but after seeing your fix, i thought we could consider them together in HDFS-10828.


I agree with you that it makes sense to keep the existing behavior in this fix, and we will
use HDFS-10804 to track ReplicaMap issue.  Thanks.
