Date Thu, 21 Jul 2016 23:58:20 GMT

Xiao Chen updated HDFS-10225:
          Resolution: Fixed
        Hadoop Flags: Reviewed
       Fix Version/s: 3.0.0-alpha2
    Target Version/s: (was: )
              Status: Resolved (was: Patch Available)

Committed to trunk, thanks [~eddyxu] for the contribution and [~cmccabe] , [~arpitagarwal]
for reviews!

[~eddyxu], do you want to target this for earlier branches? This is incompatible in behavior,
but also doesn't work for 2.8.0. So I think it's okay to backport if there's a need. (Not
sure if I should check the 'Imcompatible' flag here or not.

> The current hot swap code only differentiate data dirs by their paths. People might want
to change the types of certain data dirs from the default value in an existing cluster.
