Thanks for the update [~drankye]. I think we are on the same page that let's pursue this JIRA
as best-effort.

Agreed that checksum is an important perspective before release. I'll speedup the review.

Right, hflush/hsync are unrelated to coder details. I was only suggesting that hflush/hsync
should have higher priority than the task in this JIRA.
