Subject [jira] [Commented] (HDFS-7179) DFSClient should instantiate a KeyProvider, not a KeyProviderCryptoExtension
Date Thu, 02 Oct 2014 20:48:35 GMT

Andrew Wang commented on HDFS-7179:

Even though the ulimit has gone up, we're still hitting strange file descriptor limits :(

java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "du": java.io.IOException: error=24, Too many open

These unit test failures look unrelated, going to commit based on ATM's +1.

> When fetching delegation tokens, we attempt to cast the KeyProvider to a DTExtension.
However, right now the KP is already wrapped into a CryptoExtension, so it will never be a
DTExtension, so we aren't able to get delegation tokens from the KMS.
