Hi [~aw], 

Thanks for your earlier review and discussion. It seems that supporting numerical user names
is unavoidable. The issue reported in this jira is to avoid loading the full name-id map.
Using command "id" can help achieving the goal for supported platforms. I wonder whether there
is a better alternative out there than "id" command. -- I searched and didn't find one so
far.

Would you please comment? Many thanks.
