Subject [jira] [Commented] (HDFS-6375) Listing extended attributes with the search permission
Date Thu, 29 May 2014 23:22:03 GMT

Andrew Wang commented on HDFS-6375:

I took a hack at fixing the java warning, I think this works:

    List<String> names = Lists.newArrayListWithCapacity(json.keySet().size());
    for (Object o: json.keySet()) {
    return names;

Also, why are we using a map still with {{JsonUtil#toJsonMap(List<Xattr>)}}? Shouldn't
we be doing {{toJsonArray}}?

> From the attr(5) manpage:
> {noformat}
> Users with search access to a file or directory may retrieve a list of
> attribute names defined for that file or directory.
> {noformat}
> This is like doing {{getfattr}} without the {{-d}} flag, which we currently don't support.
