bq. +1. One optional nit to fix, you could use the getTrimmedStrings(String, String...) that
takes a default value, but that's really minor.

The issue with that one is that the default value it takes is in the form of an array, whereas
what I have is a default value in the form of a string.  Will commit v2 shortly...

mainly a concern on BSDs and some other systems where {{/dev/shm}} doesn't exist.
