(Sorry for the delay answering this) 

What I've meant is that if you have a app reading data from stream and trying to write it
to WebHDFS, because of how Java HTTP impl works, the actual connection will not be attempted
until some data is written to the HTTP stream. This app will have to replay the written data,
it means it has to cache it until is flushed.
