Aaron T. Myers commented on HDFS-3011:

Hey Todd, what I do is the following:

# Run a test case from eclipse, watch it fail with the error about not being able to find
# Go to Run -> Run Configurations
# Select the run conf that just failed
# Go to Classpath
# Click "User Entries" then "Advanced"
# Select "Add Folders"
# Add the "target" directory under the hadoop-hdfs project
# Re-run the configuration

Unfortunately I haven't figured how to automatically add this directory to the run classpath
for all run configurations.

> Currently the webapps dir is in the filesystem and added to the classpath.
> As effectively it is picked up from the classpath, we could move into the component JAR
