I feel the need to point out that the current method is first party given that jsvc is Apache
software and pulling from the OS vendor would be third party. 

I also feel the need to point out that pulling jsvc out of the distribution should also require
pulling other binary components out of the distribution for the exact same reasons.  It doesn't
make much sense to me to pull a binary version of one ASF project and the source release for
another without a very compelling reason.  Given that we don't care about portability, I don't
see the value of removing jsvc.
