Daryn Sharp updated HDFS-1869:

    Release Note: A multi-level mkdir is now POSIX compliant.  Instead of creating intermediate
directories with the permissions of the parent directory, intermediate directories are created
with permission bits of rwxrwxrwx (0777) as modified by the current umask, plus write and
search permission for the owner.
