@Milind: According to Sanjay, the reasoning for this second implementation is lack of wire
compatibility in native RPC.
I said: "... HTTP has the advantage that it does not require a hadoop client library - this
is very useful for some applications. .. fuse ...".
So the reasoning is NOT wire compatibility, it is a side benefit.
