Subject [jira] [Updated] (HDFS-1898) Tests failing on trunk due to use of NameNode.format
Date Fri, 06 May 2011 00:39:03 GMT

Todd Lipcon updated HDFS-1898:
------------------------------

    Attachment: hdfs-1898.txt

Fixes the test cases that use NameNode.format.

Interestingly, NameNode.format will happily *reformat* a namedir without providing a cluster
ID, so if you don't see these failing, you just need to rm -Rf /tmp/hadoop-<user>

> After federation merge, NameNode.format no longer works on trunk. Unclear why these tests
aren't failing on Hudson, but some seem to fail for me in my checkout (including TestEditLogFileOutputStream
for example)
