Subject [jira] [Commented] (HDFS-1772) atime and mtime are different from hdfs:// and hftp://
Date Sat, 26 Mar 2011 23:42:05 GMT

Tsz Wo (Nicholas), SZE commented on HDFS-1772:

It seems not the case. (but if it is the case, then it is also a bug since ls on a dir should
not change the atime or mtime of its children.)

It looks like that the values from hftp are truncated to the nearest thousands.

> When two file statuses respectively obtained from {{hdfs://}} and {{hftp://}} with an
identical path, the access time values and the modification time values could be different
from these two file statuses.
