Code looks good. The only question I have is that BlockManager.getCorruptInodes does the following:

    LinkedHashSet<INode> set = 
      new LinkedHashSet<INode>(this.maxCorruptFilesReturned*2);

Can you pl explain why the multiplication by 2 is needed?
