Subject Namenode exception on startup: found lease for non-existing file
Date Thu, 30 Apr 2009 03:02:45 GMT

We encountered the following problem, NN cannot startup and throw runtime

Found lease for non-existent file

We suspect this is caused by "/" within the temporary output filename and
hadoop interpret it as a parent directory.

The root cause is the application is accidently fed with compressed data.

Does anyone got this problem before?
