Subject RE: Running WordCount in pseudo-distributed configuration

Jon,

I followed your instructions and I got the JobTracker started only if I do
not include webapps in the jar and put the directory above webapps in my
classpath. If I try putting it in the Jar I get one of the following two
errors, both running from Windows and Cygwin:

060228 134831 Starting tracker

I can't remember what, if anything, I did to get one over the other, the
former is more common. The path the JVM is giving is:

file:/C:/java/lib/hadoop-nightly/hadoop-nightly.jar!/webapps

That is the same in both Windows and Cygwin. Running webapps outside the
jar is fine for me for now, it would be nice to have it all work as a bundle
eventually though. Thanks for the help.
