Subject [jira] [Commented] (HADOOP-14099) Split s3 testing documentation out into its own file
Date Wed, 22 Feb 2017 11:39:44 GMT

Steve Loughran commented on HADOOP-14099:

updates LGTM; I'll commit these

regarding the various xml auth files, I think I managed to confuse myself. I can see that
my test setup has the file, and that its not under SCM, so think we do still need it -even
if it just contains an {{Xinclude auth-keys.xml}} tag. I wasn't going to change things in
this patch though, which is purely docs (and so low risk)

> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: documentation, fs/s3
> Affects Versions: 2.9.0
> Reporter: Steve Loughran
> Assignee: Steve Loughran
> Priority: Minor
> Attachments: HADOOP-14099.002.patch, HADOOP-14099-branch-2-001.patch, HADOOP-14099-branch-2-001.patch,
HADOOP-14099-branch-2.002.patch, HADOOP-14099-branch-2.003.patch
> The aws/index.md file is way too big.
> We should split out the testing section into its own file, as its of relevance to developers,
not users.
> This is also the time to clean it up and add a section on what you have to do to get
a patch reviewed, what we want from tests, etc.
