Subject [jira] [Updated] (HADOOP-13995) s3guard cli: make tests easier to run and address failure
Date Thu, 26 Jan 2017 22:15:24 GMT

Sean Mackrory updated HADOOP-13995:
    Status: Open (was: Patch Available)

Withdrawing the patch for now. I figured out this patch is muddying by test runs for subsequent
patches - the DynamoDB tests that create / destroy the table seem to mess up the state for
other tests running shortly after it (even if they're not parallel). Also hadn't noticed the
issue with site generation - at first glance I don't see why the markdown is a problem because
it's in ```xml just like the code above it.

> Following up on HADOOP-13650, we should:
> - Make it clearer which config parameters need to be set for test to succeed, and provide
good defaults.
> - Address any remaining test failures.
> - Change TestS3GuardTool to an ITest
