Subject [jira] [Commented] (HADOOP-11440) Use "test.build.dir" instead of "build.test.dir" for testing in ClientBaseWithFixes

Akira AJISAKA commented on HADOOP-11440:
----------------------------------------

{code:title=hadoop-project/pom.xml}
    <test.build.dir>${project.build.directory}/test-dir</test.build.dir>
    <test.build.data>${test.build.dir}</test.build.data>
{code}
Nice catch [~sekikn]. We can use 'test.build.dir' or 'test.build.data'. Since 'test.build.data'
is used by some pom.xml, using 'test.build.data' is better for me.
By the way, we can remove either of the properties. Removing test.build.dir looks easier.
I'll file another jira for resolving the duplication.

> In ClientBaseWithFixes.java, the base directory for tests are set in the following:
> {code}
> static final File BASETEST =
>         new File(System.getProperty("build.test.dir", "build"));
> {code}
> There is no property "build.test.dir", so {{BASETEST}} is always "build". We should use
"test.build.dir" instead of "build.test.dir".
