If so, see HADOOP-11090 and close this as a duplicate of that JIRA # do you mean Java 8? If so, see HADOOP-11123 & close this as a duplicate hadoop trunk & branch2 do actually have java 8 and java 9 profiles, go {{-Pjdk8}} for a java 8 language/version mode, and {{-Pjdk9}} for java 9. Current priority is getting java 8 working everywhere, including with security.
