Jason Lowe commented on HADOOP-11288:

That's something you'll need to bring up with Cloudera. They are free to choose not to support
the CapacityScheduler. However that decision does not directly lead to that scheduler being
an invalid setting in Apache Hadoop.

> Project: Hadoop Common
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 2.5.0

> The yarn.resourcemanager.scheduler.class property is wrongly set to org.apache.hadoop.yarn.server.resourcemanager.scheduler.capacity.CapacityScheduler.
CapacitySchduler is not even supported. Should be org.apache.hadoop.yarn.server.resourcemanager.scheduler.fair.FairScheduler.
