It does.  But if you notice, all of those other commands were in Hadoop 1.x... before the
hdfs command existed.  portmap and nfs3 came way way way after that.  In other words, running
e.g. 'hadoop portmap' as a command was never documented as valid.  So the only way someone
would run that would be accidentally.  If we do that for every command that someone might
accidentally run, we're gonna be in for a bad time.
