If you do the iteration in the client, you have a lot of options. In particular the latency
is much lower if you do:

{code}
for(String name: provider.getKeys()) {
   Metadata meta = provider.getMetadata(name);
   System.out.println(name + " " + meta.getDescription());
}
{code}

than if you force it to build the entire database in memory before you do anything.
