Subject [jira] [Commented] (HADOOP-9609) Remove sh dependency of bin-package target
Date Sun, 16 Jun 2013 06:02:20 GMT

Ivan Mitic commented on HADOOP-9609:

Thanks Chuan, sounds good.

I noticed one difference between the new script and original sh script. You will copy hadoop
libraries to $DIST_LIB_DIR/platform, while the original script copied them to $DIST_LIB_DIR
when on Linux. right?

> In Ant package target, we no longer use packageBinNativeHadoop.sh to place native library
binaries. However, the same script is still present in the bin-package target. We should remove
bin-package target's dependency on sh to keep it consistent with package target.
