All the hadoop releases ships both 32 and 64 bit libraries. User can decide on using 32 or
64 bit library which is appropriate for his environment. So the ans is we compile 32 and 64
bit libs by setting CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS with the appropriate JDK - for more info refer to
hadoop release wiki.
