The javac warning is related is caused by this line:

env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory.class.getName());

The problem is that the LdapCtxFactory is a deprecated API, but according to all documentation
(including Oracle's) and examples that I've looked at, it's the correct way to initialize
the context. We could avoid the warning by hard-coding the string, but I strongly prefer calling
getName() to get the actual class name.
