Eric Charles commented on HADOOP-8017:
--------------------------------------

Hi Robert,

Yes, the patch if for the main pom 'org.apache.hadoop:hadoop-main' (https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/common/trunk/pom.xml)

(I generated it with 'svn diff pom.xml > HADOOP-8017.patch' from my top hadoop source folder..,
not obvious to retrieve it from the patch file...).

Thx, Eric

> Last M2Eclipse plugin (maven plugin for eclipse) shows nasty errors when importing the
hadoop maven modules (read more on http://wiki.eclipse.org/M2E_plugin_execution_not_covered).
> The solution is to configure the build section of the pom with a org.eclipse.m2e:lifecycle-mapping
plugin.
> This configuration has no influence on the Maven build itself.
