@Owen: Could you please comment on how this need to persist tokens (or rather to share them
between multiple metastore service nodes) relates to potentially similar use cases for other
services? The NN is also keeping tokens in memory, but those don't survive a restart? Would
also appreciate if you could have a look at the TokenStore interface in the proposed Hive
patch. As far as the implementation of that interface goes, we are planning to use ZooKeeper
3.4 with security for our production deployment.
