Matt Foley commented on HADOOP-7326:

I think I found the problem with TestTrash using one's personal .Trash folder instead of something
from the "TestLFS" file system. The main testcase, #testTrash() sets the TestLFS correctly,
then calls #trashShell(FileSystem, Path), which throws away the config object in which the
TestLFS was set, and instantiates a new one instead. I've changed it to call fs.getConf()
instead, thereby preserving the use of the TestLFS configuration.

> This bug was discovered while investigating HDFS-1967, intermittent failure of TestHDFSTrash,
which calls TestTrash. If the user id running the test has a ~/.Trash directory that already
has 4 or more files in it, a loop in TestTrash.testTrashEmptier() will never terminate, because
it is waiting for the count of objects to increase from zero to exactly three (and it creates
one object right away).
