I've got a feeling that Scott is very strong about moving Hadoop to SLF4J. This clearly does
not fall within the scope of this issue as I explained before. But if you would like to invest
in this subject you are welcome to create an issue and provide arguments for the transition,
may be your experience with SLF4J in Avro, performance comparison, etc.
