Subject [jira] Commented: (HADOOP-5073) Hadoop 1.0 Interface Classification - scope (visibility - public/private) and stability

Suresh Srinivas commented on HADOOP-5073:
-----------------------------------------

Another approach to take is to have nested interface as follows:
{noformat}
public @interface Audience {
  public @interface Public {
  }

  public @interface Private {
  }
}
{noformat}

Code can be annotated then by using @Audience.Public, @Audience.Private

This nicely groups all the annotations together under Audience, without needing to use the
Audience_ prefix for grouping them together.
