Date Wed, 22 Jul 2009 12:11:14 GMT

Ravi Gummadi updated HADOOP-6163:
---------------------------------

    Resolution: Invalid
        Status: Resolved (was: Patch Available)

As we don't have tasks without phases(both map tasks and reduce tasks have phases) for which
we need progress, this is not an issue.

> Progress class should provide an api if phases exist

> Progress class needs to provide an api for client to know if there are phases.
> This is needed for Task.setProgress() to decide whether to update progress of task or
progress of current phase in the task.
