Subject [jira] [Created] (HADOOP-15077) Support for setting user agent for (GCS)Google Cloud Storage
Date Thu, 30 Nov 2017 17:00:00 GMT
Yu LIU created HADOOP-15077:

Summary: Support for setting user agent for (GCS)Google Cloud Storage
                 Key: HADOOP-15077
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-15077
             Project: Hadoop Common
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: fs
            Reporter: Yu LIU
            Priority: Minor

Currently, when we use AWS/Azure/Aliyun as a FileSystem, we can set *user agent* for the underneath
HTTP communication with these cloud providers by setting _fs.s3a.user.agent.prefix_, _fs.azure.user.agent.prefix_,
or _fs.oss.user.agent.prefix_ properties.
But not GCS(Google Cloud), So is it possible to provide this new feature ?
