Subject [jira] [Created] (HADOOP-14015) Partitions on Remote HDFS break encryption-zone checks
Date Fri, 20 Jan 2017 22:30:26 GMT
Mithun Radhakrishnan created HADOOP-14015:
---------------------------------------------

Summary: Partitions on Remote HDFS break encryption-zone checks
                 Key: HADOOP-14015
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-14015
             Project: Hadoop Common
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Mithun Radhakrishnan

This is in relation to HIVE-13243, which fixes encryption-zone checks for external tables.
Unfortunately, this is still borked for partitions with remote HDFS paths. The code fails
as follows:

I have a really simple fix.
